That was pre AIS days we put a lot of funding into this (Olympics) results are terrible ingrained near enough is good enough attitude .Needs to start at grass roots level school sports days every kid doen't need to get a prize only the winners .Some of you people need to look back to years such as 1976 and 1980 where we won bugger all.
Already know how that feels....sigh.....This is what it feels like to be Richmond...

"What worries me is that there have been demands on the sports to perform or lose funding has meant the large part of their funding has been directed towards Rio. I don't think there's sufficient attention being paid to the next group of athletes coming through."
