Earlier in his career before his injuries Hewitt would have had Ferrer covered.

That being said I think in most other generations Ferrer would have won a French open.

Probably not far away as players but Hewitt won grand slams and as far as tennis politics goes having TA in your corner is going to get things done for you wildcard wise.
