Certainly had his chances (4-1 and break points for 5-1 in that 2nd set) but was a close match by both, just the way it happened. Had a shocker of umpire call where Marco hit the ball into the ground and the ump didn't pick it up, never seen John that fired up. Probably won't get a chance to win an ATP event again so overall a good week.

Australians are spread everywhere this week

On the ATP main tour
De Minaur is on court tonight in Estoril. He is also playing doubles with Hewitt.

Tomic is on court next in Istanbul while Millman will play tomorrow.

On the Challenger tour
Mousley is playing in Puerto Vallarta but has drawn the number 1 seed in the first round.

Polmans, Santillian and Purcell are all playing in Savannah USA.

Thompson, Kelly and Kubler are playing in Seoul. Banes lost in round 1 today.

From chocolates to boiled lollies for Millman, out in straight sets (6-4 6-0) to Lajovic in round one in Istanbul. John looked flat and Lajovic played well once he got going.

Funny when Hewitt plays and wins, in doubles what else? There's a big song-and-dance by our press. He lost his QF match last night with Alex and now the tumbleweeds return

Hewitt and De Minaur made it through to the Estoril final.
Lost to Edmund/Norrie
