He was the AA Full-Back in the Under-18's last year, wasn't he? He was obviously delisted for a reason, but if anyone's actually seen him play, is he worth being picked up?

Id rather give Doug Scott another go...

Why is it that as soon a bloke is delisted, we and every other team board are all over them like we should PSD or rookie list them..?

1. Because i've never seen him play, so i'm wondering wondering whether he can play.
2. Because he represented Australia at the Under-18 level at Full-Back, make of that what you wish.
3. Because we need a Full-Back.

He's a terrible player. Plenty of people overrated him simply because he played Full Back at junior level. I'm glad we opted for Guerra in the PSD instead.

Good point.

So many wanted us to have a look at him just because of his position completely ignoring whether he could actually play.

In the PSD if we can get another player like Guerra to add to our side to add some grunt it'd be good for us again. Not sure who is available this year though, but we've lost Barker, Everitt so that's more experience gone from games and at training and we are only bringing in 4 more juniors at this point.

Hopefully Clarkson and Pelchen can grab another half decent player like they did with Gilham and Guerra.

HFC have already passed him by once, with our pick 65 last November. Posters at HHQ were discussing him around that time with varying opinions. But despite our obvious FB (dilemma?), for want of a better description, HFC "passed" and the Dons picked him with No. 66. A recycled opportunity I rather see given to Ruory Kirkby who had a good 1st season with Glenelg, and who will probably re-nominate .

Does anybody remember a bloke called Craig Bolton. I know nothing about Lucy but think Phil asked a valid question?

In terms of our full back I think Gilham could be the man. I think he did great last year, has the look of a full back in my view.

I like Gilham there.

2007 backline.

Brown.............Gilham............Jacobs
Smith..............Croad............Murphy

Leave the Birch on a wing as an attacking player.

Birch...............Mitch............Changa

And just because I miss footy so much.

Crawford.........Roughead.......Dixon
Guerra............Franklin..........Williams

Campbell
Hodge
Lewis
Ellis

Ive seen him play at vfl level a couple of times and didnt look up to it. He is only a kid but he did last that long in the draft and then gets delisted after 1 season isnt exactly a ringing endorsement

He's not a FB guys.

IF he was to make it as an AFL footballer, it would be on a half-back flank. His courage and pace are his best tools, but he just doesn't read the play nor find the footy well enough.
