Hi International Footy Buffs,
Reporting in from a Brisk Toronto, Canada and wanted to share some information on upcoming Australia Day 2016 event which will be giving a percentage of door takings to helping fund all local AFL Ontario clubs who attend the event.
The Gladstone Hotel nestled in the inner west side of Toronto at Queen and Gladstone will be having alsorts of Australian Festivities from 7pm and have imported 17.5kgs of Australian Chocolates and goodies for all the homesick Aussies in Toronto, Canada.
AFL Canada will be implementing a Provencial Championships in 2016 so the event will also be raising money for the 'Ontario Provisional Representative Side'.
State footy as we in Australia call it is an amazing honour and something to get behind and bridge the gap between international football and club level abroad.
