Must be a real pickle if you are a vegan who is offended by invasion day given the culinary habits of the indigenous population prior to European settlement. I guess in parallel timeline Captain Arthur Phillip dropped anchor, asked nicely if he and his friends could stay then set about educating the locals about the benefits of a plant based diet. Without the need for introduced species or agricultural practices, of course.

I think you'll find it's a meat free pickle and like meat free chicken, not real at al.

Fine by me. I've only ever been paid for it once in my life anyway. The same with all the other mandated holidays, I'd rather take the unpaid time at a time of my choosing.
