You looked at Rafa's draw and thought Hurkacz or Karatsev would be a solid round 4 match up and Mannarino comes out and smokes them both.

Based on what? Last time Nadal beat Zverev on a hard court was 2017 and Zverev has improved tremendously since then.
In my opinion, Zverev will smack Nadal and may cause some trouble for Medvedev.

“Doesn’t win big games” yet won the Olympic Gold Medal, won ATP 1000’s and made Grand Slam Finals all in recent times.
The only thing that would worry me about Zverev is his Grand Slam Final performance. Not anything before that. I’d say it would be a different story if on a clay court but it is not. So Zverev in 3 for me.
