So weird
The most thrilling game with Nick and the kokka. Playing a blistering entertaining game with some incredible shots placed by Kokka.
And yet...no comments...nada.
Yet? You get endless crap about obscure grunting unwatchable players all day long.
It's like some tennis die hards are deliberately cultish and anti-aussie whenever possible.

Well, stuff youse all! :D
And go Nick and Kokka!
Brilliant tennis.
Need to be special in the deciding set

Adolfo Gutierrez is the long time coach of De Minaur.

Needs to remove Hewitt from anywhere he’s not a good mentor. He always talks as if he was playing 10 years ago don’t make errors, etc. That style hasn’t been relevant in a decade you need weapons on both sides.

Truthfully I don’t get why the Aus open does this, why would you try to charge so much for tickets only to get half empty to empty stadiums.

They need to be more reasonable on the prices.

Posted before that the total attendance break up for the 2019 AO was 13% overseas, 52% interstate and the rest is locals - It's hard for locals to make up the difference when overseas are banned, while interstaters are travelling less - Yes, in the short term they need to adjust their pricing.

Yes - But how do you develop weapons ? They don't magically appear from nowehere.

Overseas visitors are not banned from traveling to Australia and there have been OS spectators at this year's Australian Open. However it would seem that overseas visitor numbers to Australia are well down on usual numbers.

Concur, let's not forget Hewitt had relative success and was a great competitor mainly because he chased down and return balls over the net from nearly anywhere for hours, (even from the grandstand if needed!) and this would just simply wear down his opponents. Rarely did he win any big matches in straight sets..!

Hewitt's mental endurance was also admirable - how many times was he 5-2 down, his opponent serving for the match, the crowd were packing up getting ready to leave, then 30 minutes later his opponent is 0-30, again trying to serve out the match at 5-4..!

Update on Sabalenka's double fault count this year.

6 matches - 212 second serves - 95 double faults. 44.8%

Might not beat Kournikova's effort though. From October 1998 and her loss in the 1999 Australian Open, she had 182 double faults in 10 matches.

First step has to be to be prepared to make errors. Then work out what side is more realistic in being a weapon. I have no idea what side that is to be honest. The other option is to bulk up a bit now this would be the easiest option and you change your game on this
