95/5 on this pitch? Are Australia's batsmen that shit or has the pitch got something in it?
Some terrible shot selections have contributed to several wickets. Shaun got a good ball but otherwise we have handed the wickets to the Indians on a platter.

After just seeing the Bumrah slow ball on cricinfo, I think people are going completely over the top on how good a delivery it was. It was only a decent (albeit full toss) slower ball which was missed by a poor batsman.

India can smell blood here. They have been tactically excellent in this test. The wicket started playing tricks in the last hour last night. And the declaration came.None of our batsman have been settled at the wicket.

You dont think India batted better and smarter in the conditions than us?

I mean, they did win the toss, so should theoretically have the advantage with the conditions, no? That they have maximized said advantage is what good teams do.

Wasn't a yorker. Was pitched up and reversed slightly but wasnt a rip snorter it is being made out to be. Head just tried to smack it and got an inside edge onto his stumps.
Yep. It was a good ball, angling in from outside off, but it was nothing special. Our quicks would have bowled dozens of those to Pujara and Kohli, but they got in behind it, watched it onto the bat, and kept it out. God only knows what Head was trying to do. Didn't get his front foot to the pitch of ball, left a massive gap between bat and pad, TOOK HIS EYE OFF THE BALL, and tried to smack it to the on side. It's astounding how a whole generation of Australian batsmen really have no idea.
