Enjoyed the graphic about the bowling lengths of the respective sides.

Our bowling plans are embarrassing. I'm in no way surprised that India have bowled better than us on this pitch. It's fairly slow and doesn't have a lot of bounce - so what do we do? Bowl short over and over and over and over.

I actually reckon if one of our quicks had to miss and Siddle came in we'd be better placed. Not as quick as the other 3 and doesn't do a lot in the air or off the deck but at least knows how to bowl a consistent full length without being driven down the ground or clipped to fine leg. FFS Mitch Marsh looked better than Hazlewood and Starc.

Moises Henriques should get a call up for the Sri Lankan series
No.

Find the best six batsmen, Paine and the bowlers we have (sans Marsh) and play a traditional 11. We do not have a Kallis, Flintoff or any decent all rounder in this country and we should stop trying to shoehorn an all rounder into the eleven.

The good ones
No idea why we’re still chasing the game. Whoever told them “it’s a road just go out and play your shots” needs the sack. There were only two results possible from the start of our innings. Should have been looking at nothing more than batting out the draw from the outset. No game or series sense whatsoever.
I facepalmed listening to Slater before play this morning talking about putting on scoreboard pressure and aiming for about 500 by lunch tomorrow. You just know people like him are blowing smoke up Finch's ass and telling him to go out and play his shots.

Its plainly not so much fun to block, leave balls alone and play disciplined lock down cricket to try and save a match rather than win it. But most people over about the mental age of 14 understand there are times you need to do this, and that the first step to winning is usually to get yourself in a position where it's hard to lose.

Given the achievable task they were faced with (bat carefully for a day with 10 wickets on a decent pitch) we are watching one of the most numbskulled, abject capitulation ever by an Australian cricket team.

Well done to India, they showed us how it's done yesterday and boxing day, and dangled just enough of a total out in front of the meatheads today that they took the bait.

It's the T20 generation.

Kids with ADHD who need see sixes or they will DIE
I don't really buy this.

Code switching is a part of life from when you are a child in all faucets of life. All teams/players play T20 and it doesn't impact their batting as much as it seems to do to us.

Mark Waugh hasn't been a selector for nearly 12 months and was t20 only for the 12 months before that.
And he is one of the sharpest minds in Australian cricket today.

Clearly watches the lowers levels and cares about what he is seeing.

I never used to rate him until this summer, I have been blown away by his quality calls on Fox Sports.

Exactly the kind of commentary I want to listen to.

I would almost refuse to walk out and bat again if i was Cummins, the guy deserves two days off after bowling as long as he did and he got a sessions and a bit... Time and time again this happens and he knows he is about to have to go out and slog it our again with the ball when he does get out
Lucky this is International sport so he can’t ask for a transfer to another team.

Hahah i like the idea of a child spending every second weekend with dad being referred to as 'code switching'

When I stated the same thing prior to this test I was quickly shot down, with posters stating Starc has a supposed 'X-factor'.

Is it worth throwing Pucovski a debut in Sydney? Can't be any worse than the rest of these clowns. Give him the exposure with little to no pressure (This series is done)
Only just got back into the Bushrangers team after taking time off to deal with mental issues. An absolute talent but it would kill his career to throw him into Test cricket right now.
