Moises Henriques should get a call up for the Sri Lankan series
Grasping at straws. Another player the wrong side of 30 with a FC average in the low 30s. Already been a fringe player for Australia and been dropped. Bits and pieces all-rounder who can tonk a few boundaries in limited overs cricket.

Stems from lower levels? Years of overconfidence but to the Ponting era leading to poor coaching practices?
Reminds me of Brett Lee in a weird way, Lee was a luxury sort of player with a shocking economy in Tests we could afford to carry because of how good Warne and McGrath were. We have a whole lineup of inconsistent aggressive batsmen who you could carry in that early 00's side, but you can't build an innings with them.

Is it worth throwing Pucovski a debut in Sydney? Can't be any worse than the rest of these clowns. Give him the exposure with little to no pressure (This series is done)
He absolutely needs to be in the team sooner rather than later. The Marsh brothers and Handscomb et al aren't going to take us anywhere.

I can't believe the lack of fight in these dismissals. I can handle that we aren't that good. But I don't like how we aren't prepared to dig in.
India mentally ****** us. Grinded our bowlers into the dirt for 16 hours, then declared with 3 wickets in the shed which is a statement that all our work counted for nothing. We go out to bat today with no chance to win in our heads. Get skittled easily.

Considering this is our worst test side in decades it was somewhat predictable.

I reckon we need to identify a few good young Afghani players and fast-track refugee status and citizenship for them. They might be grateful enough to actually play for Australia with a bit of pride.

Good to hear Kerry O'Keeffe commenting on the poor Aussie batting. The other commentators IMHO have given India way too much credit for the dismissals. I had to laugh when they gave credit to Kohli for outsmarting Finch :)

Disappointed with the Harris dismissal. Very poor shot on the wicket. I rate the guy but I hope the talk of 20 and out doesn’t end up being true.

We aren’t going to be a consistent test side with the Marsh brothers and Finch in the top 6.

I doubt Usman is 100% fit because of the knee or 100% mentally there because of his brother.

Pitch still crap but India bowling to the conditions better and working the batsmen out. Having a plan and going with it.

Problem with Australian Cricket is ever since that tampering cluster **** they are still distracted. What happened? Who should we ban? Who is the scapegoat? Can we still sledge? Where is the line? Meanwhile technique for the actual cricket has gone to hell.

Even with all the PR from Bancroft and Smith we're still not getting the real story. After coming up with a botched strategy to handle it and heavy handed penalties they've locked in.
