The issue is that England know we'll just take our best 3 quicks in Australian conditions so they prepare pitches that suit Anderson and Broad (and our attack is blunted). Rather then adapting and mixing it up with at least a couple of bowlers that will be suitable, we're too scared to drop one of them and like last time, wait until a dead rubber before trying someone different like Siddle.

We can prepare all we look with Aus A vs Aus games over there but if we aren't prepared to make the hard calls to get the most suitable team on the park it's not going to matter.

I think I just heard some thunder, but we've had some (mostly) dry storms this summer so it might not mean rain is going to reach Manuka.
edit: doesn't look much like it though, maybe its something else

True but if they prepare pitches to suit Anderson and broad our bowlers won't be blunted as we can swing and seam it too. Broad looks absolutely cooked these days and stokes could go either way. If Anderson gets a niggle game over red rover imo

Back to back hundreds for head. Khawaja gets his ton starco gets five in the first innings probably a bag in the second innings too. Kurtis Patterson maiden ton. Things looking better than they did a couple weeks ago
