It's been a very good performance by the Afghans thus far.

Unfortunately, they are still going to get pumped by at least 120 runs here.

I'm also disappointed Mark Waugh isn't commentating on this game.

^Australia were never going to "beat the living suitcase" out of the Afghans in subcontinent-like conditions.

Afghanistan's kit was a lot better than the few times I've seen them play on TV when they've pretty much coppied India's kit. Despite not getting any wickets, I thought that Dawlat Zadran looks like a decent bowler, some Waqar Younis about his action. That leggie wouldn't be too bad either if he hit the pitch every ball. As is the case with a lot of the better non-Test sides, they have enough boundary hitting but fall over when it comes to picking up the 1s and 2s, rotating the strike. Mohammad Nabi is a pretty decent allrounder as well.

Didn't mind seeing the keeper not get any runs after the stupid celebration before he stumped Clarke.
