Australia vs Argentina

Just heard we are scheduled to play a full strength Argentina next year, one game in Sydney, one at the MCG.

What are the odds of Kewell and Viduka coming out for this one? I heard Venables is not going to be doing in any favours to Farina in releasing them.

It would be good to see the national team in action for once if this does happen.

Hmm, Veron, Batistuta, Crespo, Riquelme, Saviola, Sorin and Ayala on a LOOOONG flight to Australia and probably zero-benefit from the match itself brings me to accept the fact that these players would not touch Australia with a 30 foot pole.

Bear in mind that the tour is slated for June-- and with Argentina tuning up for the Copa America in July or August, I would think that they would want to keep as much of a full squad as intact as possible.

So there might be a chance of that after all, IMHO. Doesn't sound like a "zero benefit" to me...
