I know the deck isn't offering much but we lack the variation in our bowling atm. Lyon has bowled his heart out and been very stiff but he needs another ball just to mix it up.

As for Marsh I don't know how his wicket will come, not enough pace to catch them on the legs so if they play a miss-shot is about the best I can see.

Harris on.

I would hope they can get that margin of error down in the future. Having 49.99999% hitting a stump to be given umpires call is a bit too conservative.
When it was first introduced it had a square "sweet spot" that reached to the endues of the ball and if the sweet spot hit the stumps, it was out but it overturned too many decisions.

There's a long way to go, but if these two are still there around the 220 mark, you'd have to think India are a chance. Australia haven't been able to take quick wickets in India's top order all Test match. However, a wicket or two swings it back in Australia's favour.

To be fair, this pitch isn't doing much for pacemen.

Clarke out for Brisbane test surely. I hope he doesn't push himself to make it. He needs a break

Why do commentators make a big deal about scans? That is routine for back complaints.
I know some clowns go to the emergency room when they have a cough or a cold these days, but going to hospital generally indicates an injury is at least somewhat serious.

Brisbane will be better for our attack
Yeah. Marsh will need to show his good bowling there. His batting is great and he has shown the selectors that, but his bowling has a question mark currently. Has shown he can bowl economical test match balls, but needs to show his wicket taking ability.
