need to keep things tighter now instead of waiting until they need 50 from the last 10. lyon would be great when they shut up shop but no wickets means that doesn't happen.

Hard to feel much sympathy, he refused at any point to give his back the complete rest it needed and it helped contribute to multiple injuries, real troubling thing is the medical staff CA have on staff they are either flat out incompetent or they are simply unable or unwilling to stand up to senior players and make them sit out when they obviously need to sit out.
Who is asking for sympathy?

I doubt anyone, including Clarke, would change their decision with the benefit of hindsight given the circumstances and his contribution.

I'd be happy to give him however long it takes to get him fit again. Give the bloke a break now.

They need less than 200 now, they can treat it as a one dayer now. Australia winning is out of the question IMO. Hopefully we take a few wickets soon and they play for the draw, which I suspect will happen.
I am calling it. India will win this Test. We should of batted on for 30 more runs this morning. The wicket is easy too bat on against the fast bowlers. They probably should of got another 50 last night except for the terribly slow batting from Rodgers and especially Watson!!

In fairness, this score hasn't been chased down for about 100 years at the Adelaide Oval.
