And some of the angles Harris has produced for a number of dismissals this summer would make a builder blush.

Again, he is performing reasonably when in form, yet I can see it going to shit very quickly when he suffers a loss of confidence.

What exactly is JL doing. These guys aren't getting better in the Australian setup. Batting coach might be at fault but buck stops with Langer

Khawaja said they (he) don't really listen or spend any time with batting coaches, schedule and knowing what to do already and all

The buck stops well before they get selected in the Test side. They’re not improving these horrid techniques at FC level but are the best available, it seems.

Getting better in the Australian setup? They should be top quality by the time they get there. The failure is not in the Australian setup or with the coach for that matter. We have a lot of batsman with flaws and that won't change until Shield cricket is given priority.

Probably Head, who's still reasonably young and has at least been able to post some decent scores. I'm not big on picking a guy who has had mental health issues and would face the added pressure of being the next great thing in Aussie cricket at a time when the batting lineup is performing woefully. I also don't put a huge amount of weight on Pucovski's FC average from just 8 matches, some of which have been at the MCG which has mostly played as a road for the past 18 months. Long term, I like him plenty, but wouldn't bring him in until Smith and Warner gave some stability to the lineup.

Marcus Lasagna is a crab, though.
I can understand your thinking, however with Head... I think he has such an awful, awful technique, combine that with lack of concentration and it is a bad mix. Over in England l think he will be lucky to get a total of 60 runs before being dropped e.g. walking wicket.

Not picking him because of those problems are a bit discriminatory, we can only go on what he has said and he has said he has never felt better. They shouldn't have put him in the team if they weren't going to pick him. Yes some have been at the MCG but he also scored 240 odd at the WACA. And despite his low amount of FC games, we can only go on what he is making and he it is so much better than our current options.
