Geez Sciver loves the Aussie bowlers, fills her boots every time.....well done to Aust, well deserved win, undefeated throughout the WC, then delivers two big scores to seal the deal.....needed it in the final though....Sciver was on her way to chasing that total down by herself

Utterly stupid batting by Dean and Scrubby

Just get Nat back on strike 😂
The required run rate was approaching 12, England needed more than singles from Dean and Shrubsole.

You at least take it deep was dumb. The girl is on 140 odd think she’s a better chance than a number 10 or 11!

Sciver deserves to be not out.

Got to agree - scoring 148 in a WC final, you somewhat deserve to finish not out

Though she was lucky with that earlier DRS decision

We bought the field up though which restricted the singles on offer for a Dean & Shrubsole, and was forcing them to try going over the field if they wanted any runs

Was still a very dumb shot (both of them). Sort of typifies why we are tough to beat though

They did take it deep, but they had no choice with only 6/7 over to go

I missed the end of the Aussie innings, and the entire England innings, so these observations are quite late:

Great to see Lanning being selfless and demoting herself to #5 behind Mooney and Gardner
Great to see Perry demoted to #7, given that only one wicket was lost in the first 45 overs
Great innings by Sciver, as noted above by Moonwatcher, same strike rate as Healy
Great to see Australia surviving with "only" six bowling options, demonstrating that 7 bowling options is a luxury but not a requirement
Great to see Australia winning!

yeah all good points.

the aussie ladies keep amazing us all the time.

this top 7 is adaptable and takes care of itself it all are fit and available.

healy, haynes, lanning, perry, mooney, mcgrath, gardner. this top 7 already includes 3 bowlers.

to put into perspective, it contains a gilchrist (healy), ponting (lanning) and kallis (perry).

The value of Gardner as a Symonds type can’t be understated either.
