we already made the mistake of batting smith at 4 in the world cup, when he should've batted @ 3. (similar with kohli last night).
i guess we will see who bats @ 3 in the next odi.

Rahul has performed as an opener since the WC, and there no point dropping him further down the order. He did his job.
Dropping Virat to 4 was the best choice for the side. It's our middle order that is inconsistant and lacking of experience.
