How the season could look

  • October-November: Women's Big Bash
  • Late September-mid December: JLT Cup-Sheffield Shield-JLT Cup-Sheffield Shield
  • November-early January: International cricket
  • Late December-mid February: Big Bash
  • February 21-March 8: Women's T20 World Cup

I would much rather see:

October-November : BBL
Noember-early December : Mens T20Is, List A Cup
Early- mid December : Mens ODIs, WBBL, Sheffield Shield, List A cup
Late December - early February : Tests, WBBL, Sheffield Shield, WNCL after WBBL finals
until mid March : WNCL, Womens ODIs, Sheffield Shield

And wouldn't it be good of there were womens Tests, and a womens FC comp, every summer. Two Tests every four years, one home and one away, is pitiful.

None of this will happen, because BBL=$ (in theory at least) and every administrator knows $ > sport.
