Since the new rules have come in, I've noticed after watching Carlton's last 2 games that Fevola has taken more dives than the Italian Football Team. Last week he had a major hissy fit and so the umpire decided to award him a free kick for his efforts. Yesterday he has another hissy fit so the umpire gave him a free kick. And people think Lloydy dives.'

Fevola's dive on Saturday night must earn him a place in our Diving Team. He is improving week by week. The umpires must cringe when they watch replays - or do they really watch them?

I was thinking the same thing sitting in the outer at the Dome on Saturday night.

Firstly I should all let you know that all the girls were checking me out, some of the Carlton boys were also checking me out. Boys, please, im flattered, but in all seriousness im strictly a ladies man.

Anyway, I couldn't help thinking that the only reason that the rabble down at Carlton has the NAB Cup was because of two free kicks off of Fev-divers diving antics.

They should be so proud that their rabble, especially when I only saw one real push in the back from the superior Brisbane side.

Can't wait for the rabble to once again to be a footnote on the other teams epic asses :thumbsu:

Any forward would be mad not to take a lunge forward if he feels some kind of touch in the back.

Gavin Wanganeen must be wishing he was still playing, this rule is perfect for players (cheats) like him.

The diving is one thing, but the worst thing is the way he just stops playing and throws his arms out appealing for the free, while the ball is still in play.
The umpire should just blow play on (unless it is a blatant free) and Fev would look like a dope. Instead the umpire gets sucked in every time and awards him a free kick, even when they were not there.

I have never seen more appealing for free kicks than in the game on Saturday night, makes Warney look half-hearted. Why don't they just play the game, if the free kick is there the umpire will see it (most of the time).

The next stupid rule change they will bring in will be 'no appealing for free kicks', just to counter act this rubbish.

It's bull**** and it's all because of one Mr B. Fevola:thumbsdown:

The above article was orginally posted by me and I'm glad that i'm not the only one that can see this. While i do admit that Lloydy does dive he doesn't do it every week. Lets hope that both players pick up their game and play footy instead of playing "who can dive the most".

We know, but its always fun to watch them get their hopes up when they win the pre-season comp, and then watching it all end in tears after round 22:)
and alot of wooden spoon smacking of bottoms. and commitments at the end of each year that next year will be better:cool: but next year ever comes:D :p
