I'm going to the Australian Open Championship

The way the sandbelt is running at the moment I'd be going for a straight hitter (Peter Lonard) or someone who can shape the ball at will. Length will not be an advantage this week. I'm figuring the player who can get up and down the most will win because the greens are going to be hard to beat.

FWIW I reckon Rich Beem will struggle because it is a totally different type of golf to the target golf played on the PGA tour. Tiger Woods is 0 from 7 in Australia.

I've got a 4 day season pass x 2 but can only go Sunday, and maybe Friday and Saturday arvos.

I was actually watching the qualifiers play the other day in preparation for Mondays qualifying round. Interesting to say the least. and why can't I hit it that far?
