Carl's "genre" is swing, it is a very limited demographic, that would be the WORST Idol out of the top 4.

There is just no need to swear, whether they air it or not. There is just no need for it. She should feel privileged to be on the show, you do not go around swearing and acting like a flat out brat! Respect is everything in the music industry, and if she can't respect others then she doesn't deserve to be on the show. It is that simple. Glad the public got it right!:thumbsu:

I'm going to go with sarcasm :p

But you know what, it might not be that great for Carl, because people will expect him to be the best by a long way. I actually quite like carl, he's really the only one who has made a MARKED improvement. I think he realised he wasn't as good a singer as the rest of them and has really worked at it.

Good on him.

Hope he comes 2nd after Matt.
 
Liking Carl and Natalie now.

My two favourites (Mark and Daniel) have gone though so i hold no hope for Carl and Natalie.

Tarasai annoyed me.

She was overwhelmed with frustration as Holden pointed out. He had no problem with her outburst and understood it...and he was on the receiving end.

Respect is everything in the music industry? Puh-lease

Respect is nothing. If a major label thought they could make a quid off some bratty, diva moron, they would sign them in an instant

No doubt, but that's not her fault - that's the fault of the Australian Idol producers who decided to air the "private" footage for the sake of gossip.

If you think that is acting poorly behind the scenes, perhaps you should get a dose of reality and see what some of Australia's biggest bands and musicians get up to.

It IS her fault, she was the one swearing, no-one else was! Did I see Ben swear when he got bagged, did I see Matt do it..and they are FOUR YEARS YOUNGER!

What bands do behind the scenes is irrelevant, we are talking about a Reality TV show.

You have no idea...none at all...about how others acted behind the scenes. The producers unprecedentedly showed this footage of her after the judges were hammering into her constantly. She was clearly out of her depth and frustrated yet all the judges could do was torture her with pathetic buzz words.

But isn't it interesting that when Glen McGrath does it, people giggle and say "he's passionate". It's OK for sportsman but not for an amateur vocalist who has been thrown to the wolves?

OK....you can think whatever you want. No doubt she looked ridiculous because of it but don't pretend it's anything out of the ordinary or unjustified. Holden even admitted they were trying to drive her insane to get that reaction.

Not her fault? Tarisai carved a reputation for herself; it wasn't someone else's invention or fabrication.

And it seems the Idol producers probably went fairly easy on her. From everything I've read today, it appears Bratisai ripped into Dicko just as much if not more than Holden. Yet that footage wasn't aired at all.

Are you basing this on ARIA accreditations. Platinum/Gold accrediations are given on number of units shipped.

I believe Casey Donovan's single would only just scraped in for the Gold Accreditation if it was allocated for sales, let alone the Double Platinum accreditation you've listed it as having.
