I just wanted a contest; I just wanted the match to go for more than straight sets. Is that too much to ask in a Grand Slam final? It appears it is nowadays. That’s why I was so disappointed when Nadal lost as he is the only one that can match Federer and he always sticks to his game.

What were the statistics tonight for Gonzalez? He didn’t hit too many winners but he had a ton of unforced errors. His serve was extremely poor and his body language in that third set was pretty poor really.
