On Channel 7, the fact that there is basically only coverage of Rod Laver Arena where the top seeds dominate the opponenet in the opening couple of rounds. There are some matches that are actually close and competitive on outside courts, but we only ever get scores from these courts.

Haha I laughed after the Desperate Housewives ad came up and the male commentator said "I can't wait to watch it, it's such a great show. And there's going to be a twist!"
the idea is to get as many australians on tv as possible
but thankfully the australian contingent isnt very strong this year
if the australians keep getting bundled out in the first 2 to 3 days of the 13 day tournament i can see how channel 7 will want to sell the rights to foxtel or put it on the hd channel instead. purely because they want to see australians doing well at the local tournament

I hate hearing the commentators breathing. Whenever the play is on, you can hear their mouth and them breathing.
