Kerber has really taken her chance this year. the draw has worked out for her, fantastic chance for her to play in the final now. she plays like that in the final, then she is a chance.

Im guessing she only played one seed this year(right then), due to the slaughter on that side of the draw. will only take one more seed to win the title.

Kerber won 4 titles last year, seed 6.

She is not a bad player. She has just failed to take the next step up till now.

u guys wouldnt be talking this match shit if Ferrer beats Murray tonight. u are being hypocritical on this result. this side of the draw had an injured 2nd seed and a young 3rd seed. it really is no surprise that they arent there in the end. the other side is seed 1 v seed 4.

Both those players have games to trouble Serena. Don't think Serena has even dropped a set to Kerber lol. Vinci was a shocker, Serena won't put in two shockers in a row

She is a seed. The 6th SEED, she just beat the 2nd fav for a title. u play who u play, but it is understandable that that side of the draw was weaker then the other due to the problems with seed 2 and 3. who has Monflis played so far. it happens. Konta(going early, but i dont rate Zhang) is the girl who has done the damage on this side, she will be tough as she is in the zone atm.

u mean the whole 21 games Vinci had won over Serena in the 4 matches she had played against her. that troubled.

and u mean the match where Kerber defeated Serena back in 2012. she has also managed to get Serena to a tie break in her last match.

Does anyone think Zhang will continue this winning form, or just disappear? lol So many players have done well in one Grand Slam and then struggle afterwards.
