No he hasn't. He isn't a favourite with TA at all, they wouldn't give to him with a ranking of 290-odd.
He was struggling with injuries all year this year but I think he's going to find it tough to get back, mentally I don't think he has it in him.

Back home for xmas and they are advertising for the Hobart international. The headline act, Genie Bouchard, quite the fall from grace. Sloane Stephens also playing. 18 months ago they were the next big things, now they find themselves in Hobart!

Shame but at least he is getting the injury fixed rather than rushing back 50% and re-injuring the shoulder.

Was always going to be struggling to be fit post injury. Glad he is being safe, even though he could have easily made the 3rd/4th round without trying too much and defend most of his points.

That puts Tomic at 17 in the seedings. He is defending 1/4 final points in Brisbane, so will need to make the semis at least and hope that Lopez doesn't get past the second round in doha.

Hey guys, am tentatively planning on going this year (depending on the weather if it's too hot **** that) for the first time in a long time.
I know Hisense is back on Ground Pass- can ppl please advise the best place to sit there? Obvs will be looking at the baseline but are there any particular areas that will have shade/ etc.
Also am assuming if you get there by 9am you should be okay to get a good spot? Or is that not early enough. Again, am assuming play on these courts start at 10 or 11am.

9:30AM is usually the time I get there to find a good seat. Line up and wait for the gates to open at 10AM (I think).

Oh yeah I know, screw sitting on the sideline.
Will definitely keep those sections in mind- thanks!! In the past I've always gotten there around 9am, get into Hisense plonk ourselves down and don't move for the whole day.
