And she's playing exactly the right gameplan to beat Kerber too. She's taking as much time away from her as possible, moving up to the net or pushing her wide. Very good stuff from CoCo — and Angie hasn't exactly set the world on fire this year, so she's no certainty to win against anyone right now.

Strange match tonight Federer v Nishikori. Glimpses of Kei showing that he can be a slam winner but next minute he fades away. Still respect him as a player but just wondering when he can finally hold up a slam trophy. Federer wasn't as good as the Berdych match but still showed his brillance with some truly wow moments.
Odd in the commentary box that we could hear Courier whispering off mic talking a fair bit tonight. Obvious to all now that the Hamish/Courier duo is unworkable and these two won't be calling finals together. Will have to be a Lleyton/Woodbridge & Courier for the night finals coming up. Woodbridge might have some long days and nights doing both women and men games. They might even just say to Courier- are you happy for us to take a punt of having a Jason Bennett/Richardson type as the play-by-play commentator. Or sorry but can you please choose which of our "Ch7 flagship identities" Hamish or Basil could you bare for the finals and get us by?
