Even if he plays like he did against Nadal, Thiem has no chance. Djokovic is on a whole different level in this tournament.

How has Thiem had a tough run though? Nadal was meh all Australian summer.

Head to head record is only 6-4 in Djokovic's favour. Hardly the imposing record he has against others. In grand slams Thiem has a 2-1 winning record against Djokovic, however admittedly all three matches were on clay in the French. Regardless, it hardly suggests he has "no chance". Djokovic will be a very short favourite but he isn't unbeatable.

Anyway, Thiem has to get there first. Job not done yet.

I did catch it. Performed well and only lost to Djokovic and Goffin. Nothing bad about that. Plus minor tournament results such as that should not summarise his whole summer.
