Halep has not been disgraced in any of her 3 slam finals appearances. She has been gracious in defeat, she has fought for every point til the end, she's been honest about her emotions after each match and I hope more than any other player this year, she wins at Roland garros. She deserves to be a slam champion.

What Wozniacki has achieved since early last year in Doha, is turn her career around. Doubt any expert would have predicted this result one year ago.
Glad to see Wozniacki win her first grand slam. Both played well but imo halep as struggling in the third set and when she got up 4-3 she did not have a fitness that wozniacki had. Think halep lost it in the semi finals almost running 7 kms and plus playing almost 4 hrs in the heat in round 3.

And yes halep had lost 3 grand slam finals in very close 3 setters must be heart breaking for her but if she play’s the way she is playing she will go in favourite on her favourite surface clay at Roland Garros as she is the best clay court player in the women’s side. She just has to continue to go for her shots and do not play passive.

It’s amazing that 12 months ago both simona and Caroline would of been happy to just get the ball in play and just defend but now both are being extremely aggressive on returns have both have improved their serves. Both are going to be very hard to beat this year especially with their great defensive skills. Be very interesting to see how good Serena is when she returns and if she can compete and beat the 3 best women in the world at the moment who all attack and defend very well now in Wozniacki, Halep and Kerber.
