Ball boys, line-umpires do all the heavy lifting whilst you just repeat the scores after every point.

Don't know how the runners up in tennis slams hold it together. It's a "polite" sport, so it's expected, but in most other sports the losers either mope around (expectedly) or leave the field of play. Tennis they have to pretend they're okay.
