Day 1 had so many potential great matches and a lot of them eventuated. Day 2 does not look as interesting.

I think with the full handful of decent local stars we currently have, it makes sense from a tournament strategic policy standpoint to have 2 Aussies on RLA each day in the early rounds (where practical). I see it as a sensible business decision. If they are going to put two Aussies on RLA, Barty and Halep's opponent are the easy choices.

Berdych-De Minaur going to the latter is the result I'd love most, but Kokk-Medvedev is strangely enough the match I'm most eagerly awaiting. Petkovic-Kvitova should also be a treat, and M.Zverev-Chung has potential.

Will be worth keeping an eye on Madison Keys to see if the American wipeout continues.

I agree on Barty being the better fit for RLA, but Dasha does make great night television, and she seems the sort of tennis personality that a lot of men (particularly Stosur haters) are more conducive to watching.

Hisense and MCA swapped around in 2015 - Hisense is included in the Ground Pass, MCA you have to pay extra for.

Though it looks like they're now offering reserved seats for Hisense.

Petkovic is poor nowadays. Kvitova easy.

Dont think Dasha should have been RLA yesterday but Barty is different. For me, If Dasha was playing someone half decent, sure, RLA, but Falconi is a journeywoman. The game v Mertens will be different.
