Gauff/Teichmann on John Cain Arena? Like yeah okay Gauff has superstar potential, but she’s unseeded, as is her opponent. 2nd biggest capacity court, really guys??

GS champions Ostapenko against seeded opponent on court 17, GS champion Stephens against seeded opponent on court 7. Some of these decisions defy logic.

yeah, sort of agree with this. But Gauff is popular and is a bigger drawcard than several slam champions. personally, dont get it.

theres not much to get super excited for tmw. sure Pospisil-Medvedev and Tsitsipas-Simon look alright on paper, but the higher seed still won't be tested. Girls wise, the best matches are on the outside courts. As mentioned, You have Mladenovic - Sakkari and Putintseva - Stephens. Probably give Ostapenko v Muchova the MotD. Muchova for me. Think Konta is ripe for an upset defeat v Juvan. crafty player Juvan IIRC. Konta hates crafty

Will be good to see Stosur back in probably her last tournament. Aiava will win I reckon. And good to see the Kokk back as well.

Kokkinakis is of great interest - He has a better overall game than Kyrgios and a more consistent game in pressure situations. I hope he gets a clear run at it to show his talent.

Have you seen Osapenko's recent form or Sloane for that matter? This half you'll see this type of scheduling- after Azarenka, Barty and Kenin there aint much in terms of drawcords. Both Ostapenko and Sloane will probably get flogged anyway.

Alot of Aussies on court today, i dont think we will see any of the top players on our screens today, thankfully ill be at work so wont have time to sit down and watch until Barty is on tonight

Their form is irrelevant. They are playing seeded players, so that alone gives those players more right to be on a showcase court than Gauff, and then as an added bonus they are playing former GS champions, which should get you more respect.

Day 2, and these are the televised matches? Wow. Would rather be watching almost every other match. But hey, Aussies!!

It is why I can’t wait to day 4 onwards at AO’s every year the useless games are over.
