Most likely lol he is going to lose next match anyway

I don't think he wins but I would never rule it out. Kyrgios has beaten Medvedev both times they have played (both matches were in 2019). Of course Medvedev has taken the next step since then and Kyrgios has regressed for any number of reasons. But Nick does look like he has put some fitness work in and if he serves like he did last night then it's not a simple match for Medvedev.

Medvedev probably goes through but I can see Kyrgios taking at least a set and if that happens to be the first then it becomes a 50/50 proposition.

Nick's trick shots won't help him beat Medvedev lol Plus the pro Nick crowd will not bother Medvedev

Longer the match goes the more it favours Med too. Nick has a good hour in him that’s it

Medvedev is always vulnerable to a shock loss because his technique is so hilariously batshit insane, but realistically, pretty much everything Kyrgios does, Medvedev does a bit better. You'd think the lack of conditioning is going to hit Nick as soon as he faces adversity as well. I don't give him much of a chance.

The odds seem about right not that I really pay much attention to them

RLA, will never have a world number 2 on anything other than RLA
That's what I thought, but was hopeful the organizers might try to give Kyrgios a slight edge given he loves JCA.

My motive is clearly cheaper tickets because I think it will be an epic and I think Kyrgios will push Med, even if he does fall short. FWIW Kyrgios hold a 2-0 record over Medvedev but a best of 3 will be far more challenging.

This “siuuuuu” sh*t is ******* infuriating. Happening after every single point. Worse than vuvuzelas

Went yesterday. Ridiculous moronic shit. Just underlined the fact booing is a past time enjoyed by sheep. Made worse by the 13-14 year old demographic cheer squad Kyrgios had on hand.

Medvedev would be the worst player Nick could play. Will force Nick to play an extra shot.

Will be interesting to see where they put him. I reckon John Cena Arena. They way, they can sell more ground passes

Took the family on this day and had the best day with ground passes.

-Saw Kvitova first (worst game we saw).
  • Then caught the last set of Stosur’s on Kia great atmosphere.
  • plenty to do for the kids, great eating options with a lot CBD restaurants setting up pop ups there again.
  • Shame there’s no good live shows due to covid aside from some no names above the eating area.
  • watched nearly all of Murray’s 5 setter on JC. The siuuuuus started during this match. Didn’t know wtf was going on but could tell they weren’t booing. Murray was ok but can’t see him going deep.
  • watched some of Krygios b4 we had to get going, he was a pisser. Won’t miss tonight’s match vs Medvedev on RV but I don’t know how many of his drunk bogan fans (some of who were absolute ****wits) will cough up to get into Rod Laver.

Still a great day, felt like there was just over half as many ppl there as normal. In some stands you can only sit every second row. Never felt too close to others. They have a capacity limit on JC so it wasn’t much more than half full. Most ppl there weren’t NK’s drunk bogan brigade believe it or not, just they’re so noisy. Great atmosphere.

Make a thread 'bout it.
You're so old now are you that you can't stand seeing kids having a good time for themselves!
