When I attended my first AO in the 90s, we only had a ground pass and spent most of the day on MCA (which was probably still called Show Court One). If a boring match was coming up, we'd go to other outside courts to see the best match playing.

Back then we were even waved through into RLA with our ground passes (it wasn't full) and got to see a set or two there.

How times have changed lol

Not sure about that, he's either in good form right now or has improved.
The real test will be when he runs into higher ranked players. He has a tendency to make more unforced errors when playing against the higher ranked players.

They definitely have more ticketed seats in JCA. You used to be able to sit in the higher deck behind the court. Now ground pass is only the sides of the court

The big three courts are all 100% ticketed now. A ground pass will only get you into Kia or 1346 Arenas on a first-come, first-served, queuing basis (like all other outside courts).

Much shade on those courts.or just small tent cover at the back?
