Shapovalov vs Tsonga could be the match of the day

Cornet vs Goeges should be good as well

Dasha would need to be a lot better to win. Mertens is playing very well

Agree, think Shapovalov will have an upset win over Tsonga in 4 or 5 sets.

Should be on RLA! If the women's matches were better I would upgrade my ground pass.

Is it bad that I am rooting for Mertens to win over Dasha. I feel bad saying it but Mertens is one of my favs. Either way, it should be a ripper

Not the greatest lineup, but lots of potential contests.

Cuevas-Harrison fills me with the most interest.

The Millman, Ebden and Dasha matches should all be battles that could go the distance. Both men deserve to be slight underdogs, and the matches could end up being diabolical, but with R3 on the line I expect something epic.

This is a tough match for Dasha, I think Mertens will win.

    Looking forward to :

    Tsonga v Shapovalov
Nick v Troicki - this will be entertaining, Troicki is a tricky and emotional player.

Thats fine. I just hate the ''uggh Aussies '' line that people throw out.

If you like a player because of how they play or present themselves then by all means support them. :) Its more the ' I wont support this player because they happen to be born in Australia and we get them shoved down our throats at an Australian match tournament on Australian tv''

We are free to support to whoever, Australian or not. I don't think it's wrong to say Dasha might lose, Mertens is actually a good player. Dasha will have to play some great tennis to beat her.

I THINK Dasha will win, she's the type of player Martens will struggle against, but she'd want to serve a lot better than her first round.

Roger Rasheed doing wellbeing checks is a bit weird.

    Nothing against Roger, just... awkward.

I haven't seen any of the 7 coverage of rod laver. Question, is Jim courier involved still? Why was John mcenroe interviewing fed? And it was a bit of fun the replay I saw this morning but so cringeworthy.

Nope, not bad at all, if you like Mertens by all means barrack for her :)

All I hate is people putting down the Aussie players for no good reason as though it's the cool thing to do.

All I got out of it was he was making fun of Australia, eating wombat and making fun of our accent. Pretty rude actually.

I didn’t see it that way. It’s just some small comedy that’s all
