Agreed, they knew there was going to be a good chance of a fair bit of rain today & could have easily scheduled the unfinished matches to the indoor courts...I also can't think for the life of me why they put all those said matches after a 2nd round match, instead of first, on most of the courts.

Time is not the issue in my opinion, you could play the tournament in a week if we needed to. It's the back to back five setters over a few days for some players and not others where it gets difficult. Some players are in the 3rd round already.

McDonald has definitely stopped taking the game on, that much is certain (and not unusual when the opponent is under duress like Munich said further up).
