[7] Sabalenka vs. Li
[10] S. Williams vs. Potapova
[15] Swiatek vs. Ferro
[2] Halep vs. [32] Kudermetova

Is it bad I am looking ahead to the round of 16. You could have Mugurza v Osaka, Sabelnka v Williams and Swiatek v Halep. You would be hard-pressed to find a better round of 16 than that. That is ignoring Errani and Vondrousova, who have either made a slam final or gone deep. And Errani is funny. Potapova is good, but it one of those games where the young player won't cope with the stage I feel. Su-Wei will annoy the hell out of Sab. Not one I would be betting for Sab, that's for certain. I like Ferro, I like Swiatek more.

Mens, that bottom section is very interesting and full of good games. Lots of tight ones. Thiem will beat Nick I reckon. Sharpo and Grigor. All the others I dont care about or the fav will win.

Dan Andrews considering introducing a snap lockdown which can start as early as tonight. Interesting developments.

Hopefully they just ban crowds, not postponed play or cancel the tournament.
You would think that should be enough, it would keep spectators and a heap of event type staff away.

Over the next few days the amount of courts used will drop off as well, I'm not of it makes a difference but the infection control might be easier on the main stadium and show courts?.

Really looking forward to the All Canadian match and Nick/Thiem

It's a shame both are on at the same time

He will do it if this is all about public safety. That stadium will be full which is a super spreader risk.

Apply some commonsense and logic to the situation and there should be no crowd.
Never seen so much over the top over a few cases. It’s at this time I’m glad I’m going back to Sydney tomorrow where it’s not nuts

sigh, this is why we can't have good things. We will find out, one way or another, after midday. Glad I didn't make the trip in the end. Hoping things can stay the same.

The good news for the AO is that this cluster is not from them.
