In a weird way having to hit a few winners rather than just defending is a good thing anyway. It may cost him this tournament but it will help at the US Open which has driven me insane watching him try and defend to win that tournament

Why would sliding be proof of no abdominal injury? Sliding minimises impact and arm reach, both of which actually would be detrimental to an ab injury.

Yep both draws men and women seemed very skewed. The women really if Svitolina and Barty don’t make the semis it’s a shock.
