Which would be strange given Rune has a 2-0 record over him.

5 Sets would be another story

Tsispas is $5.50 to win the tournament second favourite. Rune is $9.50. You’d assume if they play and I hope they don’t, Tsispas would be $1.50 odd to win

Let’s not forget that one of those wins was at Roland Garros over 4 sets. Also not forget Rune has had straight sets victories in all of his matches at the Aus Open.

I would have Rune as the favourite but you never know I guess.

Difference between the pricing at the moment for tournament winner is due to their draw rather than their player against player in my opinion.

Honestly think he’s a year away reminds me a little of Alcatraz a year before he broke through. Do feel he’s a better player long term though

Sinner is a weird player. Big power and only serviceable mover yet plays a super defensive game. I dunno what it is, but a player like him shouldn't be standing 1.5m behind the baseline and chipping volleys.

The * is the Sportsbet ad that’s been on all afternoon?!

“If your players opponent retires hurt we’ll pay you out as a winner.

Eg. At last years French Open Zverev retired hurt against Nadal - so we’d be paying out Nadal for the win.”

Wtf?!

Why would you? You’re paying out the winner cos he *in won!

Different books have different retirement rules but at a minimum they usually need to complete a set for the bet to be valid. Some books require the match to be completed.

It used to be an easy match fix. If people knew someone was injured they could load up on the opponent, the injured player comes out and plays a game or two and then retires and you collect on the opponent.

It makes me wonder what sort of coaching these players get. To beat the Greek you need to stay away from his forehand and make his back hand beat you.

Sinner just peppers away on his forehand side and then will wonder why he is down 2 sets early. 🤪
