Monday 15th February - Day 8
Some interesting matches coming up, it is going to be hard to match the quality of the women's matches from Day 7. Pegula might surprise, consider Brady the favourite, Nadal will most likely beat Fognini, Barty should win and Tsitsi Berrettini will be interesting. Rublev is moving through the draw with a minimum of fuss, how will Medvedev back up after the 5 setter?

RLA 11am
Svitolina-Pegula
Vekic-Brady
Nadal-Fognini

7pm
Barty-Rogers
Tsitsipas-Berrettini

MCA 12.30pm
McDonald-Medvdev
Rublev-Ruud
6pm
Mertens-Muchova

[7] Rublev vs. [24] Ruud
[PR] McDonald vs [4] Medvedev
[5] Tsitsipas vs. [9] Berrettini
[16] Fognini vs [2] Nadal

[1] Djokovic\[14] Raonic vs [6] Zverev
Dimitrov [18] vs. Karatsev
-------------------------------------------
Hsieh vs. [3] Osaka
[10] S. Williams vs. [2] Halep

[1] Barty vs. Rogers
[18] Mertens vs [25] Muchova
[28] Vekic vs [22] Brady
Pegula vs. [5] Svitolina

Can't add anything else bar, go Mertens. She just keeps doing the business. Could be an interesting day. Could be another total flop like most even days have been.

Barty in 3
Mertens in 3
Brady in 2
Svitolina in 2

Rublev in 3
Medvedev in 3
Stefo in 3
Nadal in 4

Barty in 2 (better be can’t stand Rogers)
Muchova in 3 (toss of the coin, just feel Mertens will make too many errors)
Brady in 3 (will do enough)
Pengula in 2 (my upset)

Rublev in 3 (easily)
Mededev in 3 (easiest tip of the day)
Berretini in 4 (just a gut feeling)
Nadal in 3 (Rafa won’t lose to Fognini)

Mertens is like the female Gasquet. Gets to the R4 / QF like every slam and then checks out like clockwork. Not sure Muchova is quite good enough but I had a play.

Brady looking great (despite the struggles to close the set) and Pegula very impressive.

Tipping Berrettini tonight in one of the only (on paper) competitive matches. Mertens the other one.

The Mertens one is impossible to tip hone the other way but who knows
