3 straight quarter finals at the aus open for Barty. Maybe we under appreciate the fact we have such a fantastic player in Australia at the moment.

honestly with what has happened on her side of the draw anything less than a Final is a failure for Barty at this Aus open.

yeah. lots of people said that at the start of the tournament as well. In hindsight, it was as lopsided as you could get.
Look at all that blood which lost yesterday. To have Muguruza, Swiatek and Sab all out in the round of 16 and losing to other top level players of Halep, Serena and Osaka. Any of those 6 would be tougher on paper than Svitolina, kenin and Pliskova or anyone else on that other side.

Perfectly said. It was a ridiculous draw, way too lopsided and any of those players you mentioned who lost would’ve been worthy of a place in a SF.
