Too much is being made of last night in my opinion. I don't think anyone who follows tennis really thought De Minaur was a chance.
The fact De Minaur won't ever win a grand slam doesn't mean he can't have a great career. Give me a top 100 career for ten years any day if the week.
To much negativity in my opinion. It's a hard sport.

Novak is a petulant brat who literally caused deaths during the pandemic by holding his exhibition tournament, so I wouldn't exactly use him as an example where selfishness is a good thing.

Has nothing to do with it. Tennis is always an individual sport no one’s gives a flying hoot about Davis Cup or whatever they are called. It’s all about Grand Slams and titles. That’s all individual.

To me, if you can make a living being on tour then you are a successful tennis player. Alex has done well and will continue to do so. Of course he wants to win a Slam, doesn't everyone? Very few achieve it though. Doesn't mean one shouldn't aspire to it.
You can still be an arrogant selfish campaigner. Kyrgios acting like he's won 30 grand slams, when he has a big fat 0.

Kyrgios haters in here. How mother****ing refreshing. That doesn’t exist anywhere else. 
Watching Alex play is painful. His stance when he hits most of his forehands is so open, he has no momentum forward to generate any power.

Chuckled when the non-tennis lauded the Rune VS Rublev when in fact it was a rubbish performance by top ten players. Sanders is a good doubles player and she is with the right partner in Mertens who is excellent at the caper. Hopefully they can provide competition for Siniakova and Krejcikova.
