Grand Slam - Australian Open - Day 10

Geech, how good is Barty atm. Finished her match quicker than I can run 3K. Nadal took a bit longer but he is not important for another couple of days. The girls back up on Day 11. And the special K's changed tennis forever, according to some commentators..... i would call it a Davis Cup like...

Keys will win this, and Barty will face yet another American.

I first watched Keys play in a challenger match in later October 2012. She came from a set and a break down and went on to win that event. I called her a multiple future Grand Slam winner and world number one after that.

Fair to say she hasn't fully lived up to the high expectations I had for her, but she's now in the prime of her career so a Grand Slam victory may be just around the corner.

Said it before. If Barty progresses to a clash against Keys Barty will rope a dope her into hitting herself out with unforced errors.

Yeah, I'd back Barty in. It would be a fascinating battle of power v defence but Ash will win out.

As an aside, seems TA has relented in their stance re the Peng Shuai stance due to the absolute PR nightmare it created as a ‘political statement’.

Rightly so when they’re openly celebrating another political hot topic being pride day.
