Tsonga wins the first set against Murray while Davenport has dropped the second to Errani. Still not one single seed knocked out today.

The Jelena - Paszek match was truely brilliant.
One of the best Tennis matches i've seen in quite a while, and it helped that Jelena won :p

Just a quick question, does anybody know when the Mighty Federer is playing?
Best Tennis player in the world.

Federer's in the other side of the draw, so he's playing tomorrow.

They dont release the times of the next days play till this evening.

My prediction is that Hewitt will be the night match tomorrow with Federer as second or third day game.

On Thursday night Guccione will be the night game provided he wins and plays against Gonzo. Saturday night will be Hewitt again as they love giving him the night games provided he is still in the tournament.

Tsonga up a break in the 2nd against Murray serving at 4-3

Probably one of the best matches I've ever seen, well the last part of the last set :thumbsu: Both girls weren't making too many errors, they were just so even.

I agree, the match, or from what i saw of it was quite amazing and dramatic, really tense stuff during the whole third set.
You really couldn't ask for a much better start to the 2008 Australian Open than that right there.
But i have to disagree on the bolded text above. Both Girls had a lot of trouble on their second serves and when the going was quite tough Paszek especially had a lot of double faults that IMO may have costed her the victory today.

That being said though i really enjoyed the match and i really hope that Jelena can overcome her back injury and start playing better Tennis than she showed today.

BTW, Thankyou Scruff, i don't understand the fixtures of these bloody tournaments!

Casey on MCA , down a break allready, feet work looks a tad shabby, in the opening game.

Roddick about to serve for the match. Mauresmo looks like dropping the 1st set and Davenport just blew a match point.

Really hope Mauresmo gets beaten by Poutchek, i just can't stand her. Plus she looks like a man...

Roddick beat Dlouhy in straight sets: 6-3 6-4 7-5.
It was a lot tougher than i thought it would be. The ball mustn't be coming onto the Racket very well.

Looks as if Mauresmo's having a tough time against her opponent, they've gone into a First set Tie-Breaker...

Meanwhile Australian Dellacqua looks like Breaking back against Knapp. Knapp leads 3-0
