Ivanovic leads 28th seed Srebotnik 1 game to 0.
Ivanovic cruised through the first set without too many problems, she was able to break her opponent early in the set but more importantly she held her service games with relative ease.

Whilst Federer has just lost the first set.
Federer broke his opponent's serve early in the set only to have his service game broken while he was serving for the first set.
In very uncharacteristic fashion Federer made a few unforced errors and his opponent was good enough to capatilise on them.

Nalbandian was meant to play today on an outside court. Maybe they called it off and it's been postponed until tomorrow.

Federer wins the second set in a tie break (seven points to one). I'd expect him to raise his game now and take the next two comfortably, it's so hard to maintain such a high standard against him.

Schedule has been released for tomorrow, the third round game between Nalbandian and Ferrero will be first on RLA, then Gasquet vs Tsonga and Vaidisova vs S.Williams. Night session is Dellacqua vs Jankovic, then Mathieu vs Nadal.

Vodafone Arena schedule is Spadea vs Ferrer (3R), Henin vs Hsieh, Dementieva vs Sharapova and Youzhny vs Davydenko.

Tell you what, Federer is going to be better for the run in this game.
Too often he cruises past his opponents with minimum fuss. At least today/tonight he's getting a good run which he'll benefit from.
He's been starved of match practice so this will test him and if he comes through it, he'll be mentally prepared for the finals against the real competition.
