One other thing i look forward to during and the aftermath of the Australian Open is the tennis fashion. Last year i went on the hunt for some of the shirts (the Adidas designed shirts Safin and Gonzalez wore). Found that most shops were dominated by Nike and the Federer style, than anything else. But i did get a few of the Adidas shirts i was after.

This year i hope to get the design Tsonga, Djokovic and Baghdatis wore.

With Kuznetsova failing badly at this Oz Open, Ana must be a good chance of making it to #2 in the rankings if she can get past Venus.

Kuznetsova only made 4th round last year so she won't lose that many points.
But yeah, Ivanovic made 3rd round last year and Jankovic 4th round last year so they'll both gain a fair few points.
#2 #3 #4 are pretty close all round.

Reminiscent of Radwanska’s 4th round match at last years US Open after she had just beaten Sharapova. Shouldn’t matter in the long run but she needs to come ready to play every match and avoid these showings.

And I knew I should have got on Djokovic before the tournament - I just can't shake the feeling he is going to beat Federer this time around.

Sharapova basically had no support the other night against Henin.

It'll be 90/10 Ivanovic, if that's the final. A few Russians and Yuri for support for Maria.

Ana should get the same type of support Clijsters had.

Ana Ivanovic is so hot. Not too shabby at Tennis either.

But for the mean-time this current match between David Ferrer and Novak Djokovic is thoroughly entertaining.

Djokovic was lucky he got that one wrapped up in the third set because he didn't look like he had much left in him. Brilliant first two and a half set, but he was labouring a bit at the end while Ferrer had a spring in his step.

Looking forward to tonight's match, but still think Federer will win it without too much trouble, setting up a fantastic semi final match up.

If you again read what I said, I was asking if support would be over/under 75/25 for Ana, not the other way round.

I hope Ana makes the final and drills a ball at Sharapova's head and it gets stuck in her mouth.

Saw Bernard Tomic play today. That kid has one of the most technically flawed forehands i've ever seen. Very nice backhand, but that 'fly-swat' forehand needs a complete overhaul if he's going to make it. Also wouldn't hurt if he bent his knees occasionally, especially on serve.
