Vaidisova the smokey for me.

I'll still say she cant win it, but if had to pick one at long odds it'd be her. $17 i think she's in to now.

Winning very easily at the moment.

Playing Mauresmo in the 4th interesting to see what her odds will be.

The hottest woman in the game Anastasia Myskina quitely progressing, into the last 16 with a minimum of fuss.

Probably wont win it or make the semi's but isn't without a chance.

The second hottest.:) And your right about her quietly progressing, I haven't heard a thing about her. Hopefully she'll defeat Schnyder and progress to the quarters at least. It will be a real confidence boost after a pretty horrible 2005. Her Mother's illness seemed play on her mind for most of last year.

She's very hard on herself on-court.

And it's not uncommon for her to have animated discussions with her coach :D

Hopefully that's gone from her game now.

I watched most of her game today, and she played well. Schnyder will be tough but Myskina despite being ranked below her (I think), is the better player.

The court speed suits Myskina as well. She's played her best slam tennis at the French Open so far and the slowness of the courts will only increase her chances of beating the likes of Davenport and Mauresmo.

I went to see Clijsters today and it surprised me how easily she won her match.

She was obviously injured - she was slow and didn't even run after many balls going sideways.

I don't believe you'd ever get this in the men's tournament. There's still a huge gap inbetween the top women and the rest.

You remember that match a few years ago where she literally abused her coach, eventhough she won the match reasonably comfortably. It was almost surreal, she was winning 3 or 4 points in a row, and suddenly she would a point and blast him. Very weird, but it was one of the aspect of her game that made her worth watching.

I seem to remember a few like that :D

I gather he said something that upset her. Whether he cussed her after losing a point, or gave her unwanted advice, she's certaintly been upset with her coach on-court on more than a few occasions.

And there's no doubt it has a negative affect on her game. When your playing girls like Sharapova and Henin-Hardenne you can't afford them any advantages, which her temperament has on occasions.

Henin-Hardenne def Davenport
2-6 6-2 6-3

No yanks left. To be honest Baghdatis is the only thing that's keeping me interested in the men's tournament, as Federer will win anyway. The women's one is full of star names, and Henin-Hardenne against Sharapova in the semi-final will be sound.

I'm still backing Clijsters to win it.

Go Baghdatis!! What a legend.

"I think I'll be sleeping in bed with my girlfriend" :D Classic.

Hope he beats Nalbandian next round after he disposes of Ljbashi t tonight.

Bad news for Hingis. Henin-Hardenne's gonna take Hingis down to China-town. Just you watch...

I reckon Hingis could've beat Davenport, but not Henin-Hardenne.

Hingis is on the other side of the draw to Henin-Hardenne and won't play her till the final.

No grunting or shrieking by Maria yet - I wonder if she has been formally told to knock it off?
