Burns (265 runs @ 44): 7/10. Started off brilliantly, then fell away as the series progressed. Would like another big one in the next few Tests.

Warner (592 runs @ 99): 10/10. Flat pitches, weak bowling, fast outfield, blah blah blah. The bloke made nearly 600 runs at 100, including a double century. You can't do more than that.

Khawaja (354 runs @ 152): 10/10. See Warner. You cannot do much more than average 150! Answered the doubters and has locked himself in if his fitness holds up.

Smith (281 runs @ 46): 7.5/10. Excellent century when we were under real pressure in Perth, but a bunch of cameos otherwise. In a batting-friendly series, he might be disappointed with 281.

Voges (285 runs @ 71): 7.5/10. Basically the same as Smith. His average is simply boosted by some not-outs.

Shaun Marsh (51 runs @ 26): 5/10. I mean...it's Shaun Marsh. A comically inept 2 followed by a gorgeous 49 under huge pressure. Did enough to hold his spot, but not enough to truly silence the doubters.

Mitch Marsh (69 runs @ 14, 7 wkts @ 30): 5/10. Handy with the ball, near-useless with the bat. Often came in when we were chasing quick runs and a licence to hit out, but 69 in 5 innings won't cut it as a #6.

Nevill (130 runs @ 33, 11 catches, 1 stumping). 7/10. Excellent keeping, calm batting. Will want to start turning his "handy" 30s and 40s into big hundreds soon, though.

Johnson (7 wkts @ 49, 31 runs). 4/10. Tried hard on flat decks, but those numbers plus an economy rate of over 4.5 can't rate a pass. Didn't get any real chance with the bat either.

Siddle (2 wkts @ 45, 9 runs). 5/10. Gets a pass due to his economy, but needs to translate this into big bags of wickets now that Johnson and Starc are gone.

Starc (13 wkts @ 23, 52 runs) 9/10. In a batsman-dominated series, you can't ask for much more than this. Was a handful even on flat decks, and could have turned the Perth Test if those catches were held.

Hazelwood (13 wkts @ 32, 14 runs): 7/10. Excellent game in Adelaide, but only 4 wickets in the first two matches (admittedly on flat roads). Still room for improvement and consistency.

Lyon (10 wkts @ 33, 38 runs). 7/10. Always chipped in, and never got belted around like Craig. Still seems to go negative and defensive a bit too much (e.g. Perth), which limited his effectiveness.

Nevill (130 runs @ 33, 11 catches, 1 stumping). 7/10. Excellent keeping, calm batting. Will want to start turning his "handy" 30s and 40s into big hundreds soon, though.

Siddle (2 wkts @ 45, 9 runs). 5/10. Gets a pass due to his economy, but needs to translate this into big bags of wickets now that Johnson and Starc are gone.
You should temper your expectations for these two - Siddle won't be taking big bags of wickets and Nevill won't often get the chance to turn his starts into big hundreds.

I am fine if he can just play those sorts of knocks when we are 5 for not many, this isn't gilly batting with martyn where we are going to turn 5/100 into 5/350 just having a keeper who doesn't try and slog his way out every situation would be nice.
