It was good to see Eliza get booted, another annoying and clueless player that won't be missed.

It's shaping up as a good season with mostly smart players that are getting rid of the right people.

Yeah I noticed that gum piercing as well, I've never seen that before, it must have been quite uncomfortable getting that done.

I don't think starting the season when MAFS is 3 weeks in was a smart idea. Reckon these 2 shows have the same audience and now people who might watch are locked in to MAFS instead. I also think we have had some seasons with some really big characters in a row and the returnees are good players but underwhelming TBH.
I love Aus Survivor, have no interest in watching Survivor 50 and am enjoying this season but half heartedly. It might have had its time.

Listening to a podcast she was supposed to be on Champions v Contenders, GG & Harry's first season, but had to pull out due to medical issues. Long time to wait to get another chance at it.

Starting it the same week as Survivor 50 was a blunder for mine. Had a decent international following after Aus v the World, and even if they don't count as viewers they can help build buzz online and there's just been nothing about this season as everyone's focused on 50.

Dave did say on RHAP though that they've already been renewed for next year so hopefully they can turn it around. Although maybe being canned and getting rebooted on 7/9 with JLP might be the best result long term.

That happened to me last year with Australia v World. They showed a Survivor ad that was all about the Golden God being voted out. And it was such a great episode too, because it wasn't obvious through the edit who was going to go. But of course channel 10 ruined it .
